Getting to Cataract Scout park is fairly easy.

From Sydney and the North.
Get onto the M5 Freeway and take the Narellan Road Exit.
Follow Route 69 toward Wollongong, this should take you past Campbelltwon and through Appin. A couple of kilometres past Appin is a brown sign which directions you to Cataract Dam on Baden-Powell Drive. Take this right and keep to the Right. You'll soon see the Boomerangs welcoming you to Cataract Scout Park.

From Canberra and Melbourne and the South
Where the Hume Highway (NH 31) becomes the M5 Freeway take the Narellan Road Exit (Route 69).
Follow Route 69 toward Wollongong, this should take you past Campbelltwon and through Appin. From Wollongong and the South Coast
Take the NH1 north out of Wollongong until you reach the turnoff for the Route 69. A couple of kilometres before Appin is a brown sign which directions you to Cataract Dam on Baden-Powell Drive. Take this right and keep to the Right. You'll soon see the Boomerangs welcoming you to Cataract Scout Park.
