Aussiemoot has been moved to Cataract Scout Park

I write to you personally to inform you of an important change regarding Aussiemoot. Restrictions imposed on us for use of the Newington Armory site have made continued use of this site impossible.

Unforseen restrictions recently imposed on Aussiemoot include:
- 10pm Noise Curfew each night
- Bar Trading limitations
- On-site Activities limitations
The Sydney Olympic Park Authority is still developing their policies for use of the Armory site and this has complicated matters beyond our control.

In the interests of providing a Moot of “Endless Opportunities” for all participants and staff, the Aussiemoot Executive Team, in consultation with the NSW State Executive Team, has decided to relocate Aussiemoot to Cataract Scout Park. The decision to relocate Aussiemoot to Cataract Scout Park was not an easy one to make and has been done to ensure that the Moot is a top class event

Where is Cataract Scout Park?
Cataract is located south-west of Sydney only 20 minutes from the centre of Wollongong with its scenic beaches. Cataract Scout Park offers a wide range of On-Site activities including a High Ropes Course, Caving, Abseiling, Flying Fox, Orienteering, a Waterslide and much more.

Has anything changed?
We ar still planning to run almost all of the Activities which we had previously planned. All Gold Plus Activities are still running and are now available to buy via our online boutique (www.aussiemoot.com/merchandise) as well as our Groovy Merchandise and Moot Money.

We will still be meeting you when you arrive to direct you to the Moot site. Please let us know when you plan to arrive in Sydney so we can arrange to have you met.
